Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Hello guys! It’s Dhyana here! Today I am going to review the second book in the series, Harry Potter, otherwise known as Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Make sure you like and subscribe to my channel. Now lets start!

The book starts at the Dursleys, and Uncle Vernon has his bosses come over to his house. Uncle Vernon tells Harry to stay in his room and be quiet. But when Harry meets a house elf named Dobby in his bedroom, everything goes wrong. Dobby uses his elf magic to take a pudding and smashes it on top of one of Uncle Vernon’s boss’s head. Uncle Vernon tells Harry that he is going to be punished for a long time and locks him in his bedroom.

But things get better when Ron, Fred, and George take a flying car to get to Harry’s place and they rescue him (Harry). Harry spends the rest of the year at Ron’s place.

But when they try to get to the Hogwarts Express, they somehow cannot because Dobby used his elf magic again to close the wall that takes you to the Hogwarts Express. So, Harry and Ron use the flying car (the same car that Ron Fred and George used to rescue Harry) to get to Hogwarts and Ron broke his wand after he crashed into a tree.

When the trio arrived at Hogwarts, they found out that there was another Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, named Professor Lockhart (It did not take Harry and Ron long to realize that he was not great at teaching). Malfoy was put on the Slytherin team, and when Ron tried to use a spell on Malfoy, it backfired, and Ron threw up slugs all over the Hogwarts courtyard.

But things get a lot worse as students are getting petrified and there was blood on the wall that spelled out “The Chamber of Secrets is open. Enemies of the heir beware.”

The dueling club was the next main event that happened. When Malfoy and Harry are paired, Malfoy shoots a snake out of his wand. But Harry controls the snake, Ron and Hermione tell Harry that only the Heir of Slytherin could control snakes and that he may be the heir of Slytherin.

Now the entire school thinks that Harry is the one that is petrifying all of the students and Harry now thinks about if he is unknowingly harming the students of Hogwarts.

I like this book because it has a lot of mystery on who is doing the attacks on the Hogwarts students and what is doing it. I really recommend you read this book because of what I listed above. I hope you liked my book review. Bye!
